Our Group Puzzle Project At Little Garden Patch we are a community, and all the members of a community have to find ways to fit together comortably, while still being themselves. So we created this group puzzle project to help us think about that process. We talked the project over as a group and everyone had different ideas about what the puzzle should look like. But in the end we decided it could be a collage, with lots of different things going on, but each one leading into the next thing so it was part of a whole. Then we each worked with Teacher Michelle to design our puzzle pieces, and to figure out how to make our design work with the other designs that it would join with. Then Teacher Michelle sketched out the design and we carefully colored it in. Then the teachers laminated each piece so that it would hold up to being used for a long time. It was a very exciting process and we were very proud to see -- and show off -- the finished puzzle! |
